Below is a list of tasks that the Volunteers work on regularly; however, we often adapt our schedule to whatever needs doing and work on this as a team (eg. clearing the stream, planting daffodil bulbs etc). Please tick against those tasks you are interested in helping with; please indicate also any expertise you may have (eg. knowledge of herbs, experience of gardening etc)
Availability
We currently meet on Tuesday mornings from 10-30 – 12.30 and several times a year on a Sunday morning, when we invite the public to come and help us with a particular project.
While we greatly appreciate volunteers who can attend regularly, we also welcome volunteers who can only manage to come on an ad hoc basis, due to other commitments.
Training
All volunteers will be expected to attend a brief training session before starting. This will ensure that every volunteer is confident in handling equipment, has sufficient knowledge of tasks and is briefed on health and safety. All volunteers will be covered by insurance from Merton Council.
